Panama Canal is a very interesting piece of technology. This 80km water track connecting Atlantic and Pacific consists of a canal and a huge artificial lake 26m above the sea level. Between Patagonia and Easter Island, we had a 3 days long stopover in Santiago, Chile. This vast city looks best from the peaks of the neighboring hills.
Back in Switzerland!
We are again surrounded by high mountains, peaks covered with snow, deep valleys, blue/green lakes, chocolate stores, wooden mountain huts and nice ski resorts. We missed them all so much!
