• cockroach farm on a night train in Zimbabwe
• sleepless night with 10 fishermen in a small boat on a rocking see in Zanzibar
• a hostel in Honduras accompanied by 50+ machinegun shots of local gangs fighting, dead body just 50m from the entrance to the hostel
• New Year’s Eve at about 5000m in the Andes of Argentina, with a storm wind and freezing cold temperatures
• bad bed bug invasion in the middle of the night in Swaziland
• long nights on a diving-safari vomit-boat in Great Barrier Reef, Australia.

Marta’s summary:
Why do we travel? Why do you drop everything you’re doing, quit a good job, ordered happy life in Switzerland, sell all your stuff, pack 10kg and go? I guess some of it is about making your big childhood dream come true. And it’s not only about travelling itself to a wild exotic place, but it must be THE JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD. A journey that once you’re out there, on the track, far away from home, at that instant there’s no way back. A journey when each day brings you new challenges to face, problems to solve, stuff to discover and people to deal with. It’s a trip that you’ll remember for the rest of your life; at the moment of it happening as the pain in the ass, but later on as the greatest thing you’ve ever undertaken.
We are two Poles, one loving dust, sweat and wild adventure, other preferring to contemplate the landscape, discover people, animals and shopping! Sometimes it wasn’t easy, sometimes it was quite hard. But what would this journey be if everyone went his own way? After all, we are m&m and “Happiness only real when shared” (Into the wild).
