1 night in London

(photos)

To be sure not to miss our first big flight, we decided to show up in London 35hours in advance…

London greeted us with a weather much sunnier than in Gdansk. Kristina hosted us wonderfully, taking a day off from Zaha’s. She lives at North Greenwich with a view at Millenium Dome (O2 Arena), where Michael Jackson missed many concerts this summer.

London was also the official beginning of our trip – the historical jump westwards over edge of the world (the O meridian) was recorder by Krisitna. Interestingly, it coincided with the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall fall – a symbolic event in the lives for all 3 of us, Easterners. We’ll stick to this direction for the next 9 months. GO WEST.
Thanks a lot Krisitna and Patrick for the hospitality and letting us surf on your couch. Keep a place for us in one year!
